Soul Train.

Im going to tell you a short story.
The story of how Soul Train stopped a situation of Sexual abuse.
Someone told me this right now and i had to write.
Back in the day in Mexico [] used to watch alot of Soul Train.
Her cousins watched it with her, they would giggle at the show all the time (Only when they would grind on each other) , they always asked questions and [] answered.
She asked [] why they always laugh and she thought something was up.
[] asked them what was up, they replied with intimidation that her father danced with them like that (Grinding). She proceeded to more questions, they explained it was "that same dance but on bed, with no music"
[] told her mom and she realized her husband was raping her daughters the whole time...
The story was really crazy to me. I asked if i could share it. [] Was very open and was ok with it, but thought i should give it more privacy by not publishing any names.
[] Is really appreciative of Soul Train.
Still a bomb ass show that did way more than give her jamz and something to keep entertained.
It gave a voice, and further protection.

Further Updates,

This was my first week of school and i did not feel like doing shit, just school.
1)I passed my CASHEE exam!
2)Got to go to May Day March and Rally.
It was okay, ending was really weird but good turnout.

3)Ate alot of frijoles con soyrizo, queso, y jalapeno!

4)Went to a meeting for youth EJ's network SoCal4Youth at CARECEN in the pico/union area.
We saw this restaurant called Little Wang, I figured one step away from WON COCK.

Saw some sweet art at carecen "En esta crisis no hay haynas"

5)Made a cd for Beatriz, since i can't make all of you cd's ill start uploading downloadable mixes.

6) Saw jesus's car.


7)Got my prescription in my glasses.aka. I got to see the board and learn something at school.

8)Made my jerkin skills a bit better,

9)Went to Youth EJ Shakey's Fundraiser.
10)Got to learn about the new HPHS Block schedule! No more 6 periods. Only 4!
11) Did not support my people fight on Alameda. Yall were fucking awesome! I love you and shit only happens because of all of you who went. My luck and thank you's to all of you. Hope to join you very soon! School must be taken car of first.
Sorry if i went from that sad story to this, I havent updated yall in a while.

That shit continues to happen to so many people, make this another fight won.
Seems impossible but we can learn how to protect ourselves and the people around us from allll that bullshit, you have that right.
