Fifteen.

Today i went to go get my bus pass with Beatriz.
I hate the wind. It make my hair look really bad.
And i need a haircut.
We got the pass, spoke ALOT.
You know when you speak so much your throat is super dry. That's what happened.
We were at the bus stop and got hungry.
Got some grade A beef.ha
This umbrella flew up and closed before our eyes.
Was this a sign?

THE HOMIES CAN'T HAVE NONE! MZAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Your a JERK.

I know,
But i also know that yesterday was fucking awesome.
I woke up to my mom's pastel de galleta.
It was awesome but the peaches we got were a bit weird.

I then came to the office and we did a presentation for the URSELA folks about our trip to Seattle for the NACCS conference.
It was good/annoying, i don't like it when people make presentations themselves, i don't use "respect your elders" I respect everyone. The presentation turned into "what is a xican@?" which was not our presentation.haha
We got out of that.
Marin called me so we could go to the Bici Cocina.
We had to totally catch up. Very nice conversations.
We went to Scoops for some Ice cream.

Sorry, caught you off guard.

We ended speaking about how we are going to make the most amazing video's.
I spoke about choreography, this is going to kill.
Im sorry San Jose. WOMP WOMP!

Fuck people who do not say shit to peoples face. You are so fucking down. Say it.

Come back.

Yesterday i FINALLY saw two people i have not actually spoken to very well in a while. I've been speaking to Gaby but it's been a while Jose!
We always used to hang out and go to Burger King, everything ended at Burger King.
Every conversation, every LOL moment, and every Pregnancy Test.
Yes, until Gaby actually got pregnant.
I had not seen the beautiful child until yesterday. I have no pictures because it is rude to take pictures of other peoples children.
It hit me gaby was a mom. Crazy.
We hung out and came back.
That's what it's about serio.
Always here for them, always there for me.

By the way. On our way, we saw a canister that said KONFLEYS instead of corn flakes. haha

Never, ever forget.

This is something i will never forget. One of my greatest accomplishments. Organizing this with the some of the most awesome womyn i have ever met.

But i would have to say. organizing Clit Fest was 100x more fun!ha
Especially with most of the same womyn. Those 3 nights were like (sigh).

That's

What you get for having a dream.haha

Goodbye.

The CRF program ended yesterday. The program which gave me employment for 6 weeks. I woke up that morning to find the toilet paper roller full of napkins instead of toilet paper.

I went crazy trying to look for something wear. I decided i would work with what i had. I popped on the same tie and shirt i always wear but put on a school boy vest i had lying around that was large. I sewed it up. I was busy watching reports on ch34 about the AZ situation so i somehow finished sewing my vest. When i put it on i finally notice. I SEWED IT BACKWARD! I was pissed, but laughing my ass off with my mom. Got right back to sewing and my outfit was a totall success.

The culmination ceremony was cute. We each got a balloon, we decided to be super cheesy and hold all of them together and say something before letting them go together. That cheesy-ness got me a lil emotional. But i was hungry and had to pee so i did not shed a tear.haha

Someone let it go super late. (Jazmin)

We also went to eat after so that was cute.
Today was alllll boring. I got a giant KIT KAT from Candy which was cool.

I then made the BOMBEST sandwich.

My sister and i are big fans of WARHEAD products so im glad to bring these babies home. The end.

SB1070

A law that would criminalize all undocumented folks, and hold them subject to investigations and profiling in Arizona was signed today at 10 by Jan Brewer.

This is a call for EXTREME ACTION NOW!
I am trying to hold together a meeting but in the meanwhile do what ever you can with any means possible to tell Jan we are fucking mad.

We must show how serious we are.

This is an injustice to ALL of OUR communities. Not just AZ.

Take action now.

"SB1070 SIGNED at 10am TODAY by Brewer! Meet up next week! Trying to figure out a spot so we can talk. You can either bring a pen and paper or a mask and backpack."

Last 1 hour walk/bus to work.

Last time seeing this office.

It's actually a little depressing. A LITTLE. Im going to miss some folks. Ill visit them and only them.
Hmmmm what can i say....

That was probably similar to the dance i did when i got out.
I listened to ALOT of this. I totally lost connection with this band.

Julio Rodriguez was arrested on 4/17/10 in Downtown Los Angeles, while protesting against white supremacy, by the LAPD. For those of you who do not know Julio he has been involved with Communities For A Better Environment Huntington Park, Anarchist Black Cross Guadalajara, Nahuatl education in Brown communities, and most recently helped organize the April 10th event to raise funds for Oso Blanco and the children of Chiapas. He is being held on the trumped up charge of “Assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer or fireman,” which is a felony. His court date is Tuesday 4/20/10; his bail is 50,000 dollars, and he is currently in the LAPD Parker Center, located at 150 N. Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA. His booking number is #2301368.

F R E E J U L I O !

For those wondering how Julio is doing, know that he is staying strong and positive regarding his situation and as suspected, the charge of "Felony Assault With A Deadly Weapon On An Officer" is indeed trumped up, as the original charge was intended to be "Misdemeanor Battery" until Julio's possessions were tampered with. It is important that we recognize Julio as political prisoner, and that as members of the movement he represents we are obligated to support him. For those wondering how to support Julio please spread the word and be prepared for benefit events and fundraisers. At the moment we are currently trying to find legal council for our brother as well as provide the means for people to donate as well, which I will post as time permits. I was told that Julio's first court date is Tuesday April 20th, and that he most likely will be transferred from Parker Center to Division 30, located on Temple St. between Spring and Broadway, so I will keep people posted on both his court date and transfer. He has asked that people try to make it out to his court dates to support him.
He has requested a reduction in bail, which is currently set at 50,000 dollars and we should have an estimate of what we are up against in regards to this after April 20th. Until then please, please, please spread the word that our brother is in dire need of support and be prepared to contribute in any way you can. If anyone knows of any lawyer that would be interested in taking the case, any fundraising ideas, any means to contribute, or is interested in receiving updates please contact me at MapachinABC@....gmailCom or amber at apozonali@..yahoo.com. We need all the help we can get!

Spread the word and be ready to mobilize for our brother Julio.

That song is so KROQ.

I remember when i was small, my sisters were too fucking punk rock for life. In middle school it was a variety of so many types of music. Kroq would be all up on the stereo and cassette tapes were super cool. It was all Ball chains, black make up, Dr. Martins and BMG CD packets. And all these posters of rock n' roll heart throbs. I was reminded of this when i had a conversation with Rey about KITTIE. KITTIE, was this all girl metal/rock group, i even want to say punk because they were greater than any fucking riot grrrl i ever saw. Bikini Kill didn't have SHIT on KITTIE. I relistened to the SPIT album today. These womyn were fucking DOWN. I remember there was random switches of music like KITTIE, KORN, FOO FIGHTERS to Epitaph's Punkorama comps. And random Cd's full of like BLACK FLAG, SUCIDAL TENDENCIES, and Circle Jerks? In addition the awesome sounds of The Cranberries, Cardigans, and uhhhh OH i remember there was some Stone Temple Pilot's in there. Aha. I was in Elementary school, i liked the music. I remember you could do the horns with your hand and not look totally stupid. You could take out tounge, shake your head like crazy, and not look fucking retarted. My sisters lived an awesome life of music. I feel like they were so carefree about school because music totally had to come first. I appreciate that, HIGHLY. I can say music is waaaay important, totally gave my sisters, aswell as me, a space to express them selves. I remember they even used to carry Walk man's (Cassette Players), they soon progressed to CD players. They used to watch videos on TV, there was actually a good channel. We had no cable, just that good ol' channel with the Punk-O-Rama show case. I guess im writing this to remind myself that if i would have never seen my sisters grow up through what they did musically (which hit mentally allot) i wouldn't be this person. It seems like so long ago. And don't make me talk about the HARD HOUSE days. aha that's a totally different story. Stephanie and Candy Gutierrez, this post is for you. Thank you.

It's Late

And i need sleep so lets do this fast. I didn't write yesterday, so to sum it up. Yesterday was the chiilest day at work. We went to the public stroage to put in the junk we don't even need.
They then took me to PALMS THAI, its a really fancy thai food place. It was fucking great. Super fuul though. They took us because we passed our Audit succesfully.
We also have a 15 passenger van and they stole the back seat from it yesterday! Random but hilarious. We are now looking for backseats for honda's. aha

Today we had another meeting. This time about SAT's. Fucking awesome workshop telling us tips and tricks on passing. And alot of college info and free money info. The bus was taking forever.

While i was waiting i saw this. Imagine we could really take our passport photos like this?

We then went to IN-N-OUT A.K.A Baby Jesus restaurant.
They were interviewing some guy next to us. He got the job, even though his interview was pretty bad, therefore proving when i apply for IN-N-OUT i will totally get it.

Now i just finished writing all these letters and making one package!
Expect mail!

And all that Descendents under got me through the day!

Good good things.

The Metro got stuck this morning again.
This time I was running a bit later. And so was everyone, you could totally tell, they were PISSED. When we got in the metro not all of us fit, so everyone started swearing.
I did storage and inventory today but i was in a good mood, It wasn't very bad.
But we have a big mess!

And alot of files.

Today on my break there was this man that was on a wheel chair and was pushing himself all around Hollywood Blvd.

I met up my mom so we could go get some IN-N-OUT. I cancelled my meeting because i NEEDED to spend some time with mother. I got my Ray Bans, finally I SEE! In a fashionable way!

Then we went to go get some coffee, we spoke about some funny shit. It was awesome.

I think that's it, just because that was the highlites. Thank you.

From a phone.

I never realized the capabilities of a metro pcs phone but this is one. Blogging from my phone. Today i got to work 30 minutes late and nobody noticed. I got to meet other youth that did the same work as me, they were all pillipino. ha, there was 2 latino's. And i think that was a mistake, they probably thought they were pillipino, oh god do i look pillipino? These kids ignored me but in my head i didnt care because i know im the only one who gets paid. Aha it was exxxtremely slow today! Im glad to be out. So excited to be out for good. Thanks to people who read my blog.
Testing.

These people have really awesome stuff.

The pan dulce is a great idea. I remember when my sister and I saw the products at first! we were like this ----> :0

http://www.xochico.com/PD/PDindex.html

Zzzzzzzz...

The Seattle trip fucked up my sleep schedule. When i woke up this morning i was super sleepy. I even slept on the bus, something i never do. Today the Metro also made a pretty fast stop and i got a guys ass in my face. How nice, sleepy and a face full of ass, that kind of woke me. Ha ha gross.
I proved i did not know what i was doing when i got to work. It was 4 days out of the work office so i tried being super nice and sweet.
My supervisor said to me "Oh you got a new ring?"
I FORGOT TO TAKE OFF MY FUCKING PIERCING!!!
It kind of made me feel really stupid, but i explained to her i have a piercing but i always hide it because i do not feel comfortable. She said it was ok, but serio, she did not mean that shit. I took it off and she never reapeted herself on how it was ok. That's where i knew, she wanted that shit off of me. I can't wait for work akwardness to be over. 2 more weeks and I am done. Tommorrow I work with the kids at LeConte.
I do not enjoy that. But i lied and said i loved it.
That's what i get for being a liar, tuesdays all day at the middle school.
I went to core after work. I went to Jack In The Box and was outraged by the price of a combo. $7.77?!?!? That shit is expensive! I kept getting my money back from the machine because i thought i got 2 of something but i didn't. After contemplating wether to get it or not, i ended up getting it. Mike greeted me by saying "Can I follow your blog" and commented me on it. That was nice because i figured Mike would talk shit.Ha im kidding Mike, im kidding. But seriously if you are the person who is following me with the name hutch mason, you made my day. Ha ha
It was a good long workshop. Ended around 9 and i went home but dropped a letter off at the post office. (The workshop was on public speaking)

It's really late now. Oh and im getting my glasses, no matter how much they cost. Those shits are beautiful. Hard work gets you luxuries sometimes i guess.
The snare on this song at 2:01 is awesome, but the song in general is amazing.

I'm in the house!

I was gone this week, from Wednesday to right now.
I was in Seattle, Washington, presenting on a panel for the National Association for Chican@ Studies.
I got out of work and headed to the office (I was leaving straight from work which made me feel in a really big rush)
We were doing this estilo road trip which meant we had an 18 hour ride ahead.
We were on our way around the afternoon, 5ish.

We stopped at a rest stop at around 12am and spoke and ate sandwiches.

Wes stopped again around 3-4ish in the morning. Most of us were awake the whole night so we were all looking like shit and speaking non sense.

We were all sleeping during the morning, it was snowing earlier.

We went to Denny's in Oregon that morning to eat.
There was some funny ass photos of children in the restaurant.
We later found out they were foster children, but i did not feel bad because i figured they had been adopted by a loving family.aha

Ice Cream in frozen ass PDX I beleive.

We got to our hotel room which reaked of cigarettes.

We went to the conference for a while to check out what was going on.
We got kind of bored of that and decided we wanted to figure out what to do that night (Thursday).
We decided to order a pizza to our room and speak about what we wanted to do.
We decided to go to this Joteria reception which was 1)too professional 2)lacking a DJ 3)Too fancy, there was no tacos.
We met some really awesome people that wanted to do something so we all took the bus to go see SOURPATCH! in the Seattle union area.

We got there just in time and they were fucking amazing and cute!

We decided that when we got to our hotel we wanted to check out the gym and we ended up working out for a while. Very, very random.

Second day there was really amazing. We went to the fish and other shit market where i got a pastry named Oscar's Star. I figured that is how i would taste if i was a pastry, super sweet and good! ehhhhhhhhhhh. Later, April's family welcomed us into their home for a carne asada! It made is feel at home.
They were really awesome!
They had a really awesome back yard with an awesome view of a lake.
We later went to a talent show thrown together by the conference.
Oh but that was an hour before we waited for AAA to come because we locked the keys in the car.Aha. We watched the Orphan and madagascar while waiting.
When we got to the hotel, we had to organize our panel a bit more. We met until about 3am. It was horrible.

3rd day was our last, and day of our presentation.
I had McD's Hashbrowns for breakfeast. Cheap and good.
We went to a workshop that hit the issue of gentrification.
It was really great.
Then In Lack Ech and Quetzal performed for 5 people, one of them being me, which really sucked because Quetzal was really, really, really amazing.

We did our panel and it was really fucking amazing. People loved us and how we worked it out. We totally just went for it.
I liked it because we got to express how we felt about the conference.
Uncomfortable, too fancy, too conforming, too academic, but still educational in a way.

At this point i no longer had my camera phone because it was super discharged.
We said bye to all the awesome people we met and got contact info.
We drove back for another 18 hours. It sucked because i did not get postcards for my pen pals. I decided to write letters on paper from the hotel's. It said Seattle on it so i figured as long as it said the city name it was cool. Im sending em through LA Mail though, But yall will get more of an insider on the trip. I wrote alot to most of you.
We also got pulled over and got a ticket. Wack. Speed limit 55? What?haha
I ate earler that night and it made me sick and i got the shits and Nausea so i felt pretty shitty.
I just got home now.
I want to thank the youth, the people i met, Darryl & Mark (Mark! postponed his honeymoon for us) and CBE and funders that gave us all the money for the trip and alot of tasty grub!
Thanks, might reflect more on this later. But i need some home cookin in my system.
Oh and the trip had a theme song. It was a really annoying song, but it ended up being really fuckin hilarious.
I probably misspelled alot, but oh well.
